Pool Etiquette Rules

1. NEVER gamble outside of your stake. If you don't compartmentalize gambling money, it is impossible to track.

2. ALWAYS have your wager on your person. Do not insult your opponent by asking where the ATM is. Digital exchanges should be addressed before the match.

3. NEVER carryover a debt to another night. "Running it back" while playing is a useful way to break even, but settle every debt before you leave.

4. Less is better. You can be who you want to sitting at the bar, but a greeting (fist bump, etc) and complete composure during game. Try not to talk to anyone while playing, especially your opponent.

5. ALWAYS stand or sit in the same place you started the match at throughout entire game.

6. NEVER leave the table during the game. If racing (playing to a certain number of won games), go to bar or restroom in between games and let your opponent know.

7. ALWAYS keep your eyes on the table (not the bartender or waitstaff), intentional fouls and deceptive play exist, pay close attention at all times.

8. NEVER show yourself if you lose a match, remember who you played, congratulate, and be cool with your opponent.

9. ALWAYS pay attention to "weight" (the number of games you must win vs. your opponent). Find an odds you play best at and insist.

10. NEVER insult the house. Tip your bartenders minimum 25%, they are your best friend in a room full of strangers.
